Archies Footwear drops in to Lorne to gift free a pair to every home

Archies Footwear is spreading joy this summer through our own Archies Happiness Project, attempting to gift a pair of Archies to every home in Australia.

The Archies Happiness Project was born at our Melbourne-based office, when we were discussing how we could bring joy to Australian lives after a tough past two years.

The end goal of the project is to gift a free pair of Archies Arch Support Thongs to every household in Australia.

We recently kicked off our Happiness Project in the beautiful Victorian coastal town of Lorne, gifting free pairs of Archies to unsuspecting and grateful locals!

The free pair of Archies comes in the form of a ‘golden ticket’ dropped in mailboxes and at businesses. The lucky recipients are then able to redeem a specific code on the voucher through the Archies Footwear website to order a free pair valued at $40.

Archies Footwear Founder and CEO, Daniel Jones, said the idea for the Archies Happiness Project was born through wanting to give something back.

“We were chatting in the office about how tough 2020 and 2021 have been on Australians right around the country, and throughout New South Wales and Victoria in particular,” he said.

“We thought a gift for a free pair of Archies was something we could do to show our support. Many of our staff at Archies have a strong connection to regional Australia, and to be able to support the regions with a gift like this is something we are very proud of."

So keep an eye on your local media, your town might just be next!
